Hit after Hit Outlaws vs Prospex 

Prospex scored in the top of the first on an RBI single from McKinney, making it 1-0 after the first inning. Hit after Hit took control in the second inning, scoring two on singles from Stevens and Swader. In the third, they added another on a wild pitch, making the score, 3-1, Hit after Hit after three. Garner continued to work well into the fifth, just giving up one run in 5 ⅓ innings of work. Hit after Hit continued to add on, scoring again in the sixth, making the score, 4-1. Prospex added a run in the top of the seventh on an error, but it was not enough as Hit after Hit beat Prospex, 4-2.

Old Hickory Baseball Club vs Diamond Academy Legends 

Both pitchers worked scoreless first innings, including a three-strikeout inning from Brooks. Brooks worked a no-hitter through five innings until Hodges came through with a double. The Legends took advantage of a few walks and a single from Hodges to take a 3-0 lead. Old Hickory scratched a run in the sixth inning, but lost this one 3-1.

Kentucky Mustang Arsenal vs Mission Prospects 

The Mustangs scored early, adding two runs in the first on an RBI double from Ellis. The Prospects worked out of the first-inning jam, throwing a runner out at the pate on the next batter. The Mustangs starter, Wilburn, struck out six of the first eight batters he faced, making this one 2-0 after two innings. The Mustangs added a run in the third on a single from Young, making it 3-0, Mustangs after three innings. The Mustangs exploded for five runs in the sixth, ending this one in a run rule, 8-0 Mustangs.

Rawlings Georgia Prospects vs Tennessee Raiders 

The Raiders came out in the top of the first with a couple of hits from Miller and Vokes, but both of them ended up stranded on the bases. From that point on it was all Prospects. In the bottom of the first, they scored two runs on an RBI double from Skinner. In the second, they scored five runs on hits from Davis, Gee, and Law, and added three more on two errors and a walk-off run-rule hit from Gee. Prospects won this one 10-1.

Motor City Mayhem vs Prospex 

Prospex worked out of a first-inning Jam to keep the score 0-0 headed into the bottom of the first. Smith worked a scoreless first for Motor City as well. Prospex struck first in the bottom of the second, plating three runs to take a 3-0 lead. Motor City got the bases loaded in the top of the fourth, but were unable to score. The score was, 3-0, Motor City after three. Prospex battled back in the fourth inning, scoring seven to take a 6-2 lead in the fifth. Motor City won 6-2.

Hit after Hit Outlaws- King vs Rawlings Georgia Prospects 

This game started with six straight strikeouts, perfect innings for both sides. Inversion worked five scoreless innings for Hit after Hit, and was relieved by Curtis. Between the two, they allowed five hits and no runs. On the other side, Glausier pitched all seven innings for the Prospects,  allowing five hits and no runs. The game ended 0-0.

Fury Chattanooga 17u vs Diamond Mine

Diamond Mine struck early in this one, plating two in the first inning with the help of one error and two hits. After the top of the first, the score was 2-0. Fury answered with two of their own runs in the bottom of the first inning, making it a one-run ballgame. Diamond Mine added another run in the second on a passed ball to make the score, 3-2, Diamond Mine after four innings. Diamond Mine closed this one out, 3-2, in seven innings.

Rawlings Georgia Prospects vs Diamond Academy Legends

The Legends scored first in this one on a fielder’s choice to first base, taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Neither team scored for the next few innings until a single from Sellers plated two runs for Rawlings Prospects in the fourth, giving them a one-run lead after four. Going into the fifth inning the score was 2-1, Prospects. In the fifth, the Prospects extended their lead in the fifth to 3-1 on an RBI groundout. The Prospects exploded in the sixth with a six-run inning, giving them a 9-1 lead headed to the seventh. The Legends loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh, but could only scratch one run, making this one 9-2, Rawlings.

Kentucky Mustang Arsenal vs CC Roosters 

The Mustangs had an incredible first inning, plating nine runs on a variety of hits, walks, and errors. Ellis also had a very good day on the mound, not allowing one hit through three innings. In the second, the Mustangs scored four more to make it 13-0, then ended it with a run rule in the third, scoring four more to finish the game 17-0.

Rawlings Cruisers V. Mission Prospects 

The Cruisers jumped out to a big lead in the top of the first from RBI singles from Hampton and Blankenship, giving them a 3-0 lead after one inning. The Prospects battled back in the bottom of the second with a pair of hits of their own from Nolan and Tucker, making the score 3-1. The Cruisers had another big inning in the fourth, plating three more on a walk and an RBI double from Acton, giving them a 6-1 lead. The Cruisers added three more in the seventh to make the final score 9-1.

Redbirds vs Kentucky Mustang Arsenal 

The Mustangs took the early lead in the bottom of the first on a two RBI double from Wilburn that gave them a 2-0 lead after one. The Mustangs went on to extend their lead in the third by adding another run from an RBI single by Furnish. The Mustangs extended even more in the fourth inning, adding three more runs to make the score 6-0. The Redbirds added a run in the fifth to make the score 6-1, however the Mustangs scored five runs in the bottom half of the inning to reach the run rule. The game ended with a score of, 11-1, Mustangs.

Old Hickory Baseball Club vs GRA Pitts

Old Hickory took a 2-0 lead in the second on a fielder’s choice and a two-out single. GRA answered in the top of the third with a run of their own, making the score 2-1. In the fourth, GRA scored again on back-to-back hits, plating three runs, making the score 3-1. GRA continued to add runs through the sixth where they finished this one with a run rule, 9-1.

Hustle Factory Scout Team vs Old Hickory Baseball Club (18u)

After both teams were held scoreless through the first three innings, Hustle Factory broke out in the fourth inning with four runs thanks to an RBI hit by #72 Gian, and two errors. Old Hickory battled back with one run in the fifth, and two runs in the sixth thanks in part to a two-run single by #10 Jaxon. It proved not enough as Hustle Factory held on to the one-run lead and won 4-3.

GRA Clendenen vs Motor City Mayhem (18u)

The Mayhem got off to a hot start, putting up one run in the bottom of the first. GRA bounced back quickly with one run in the second, and three in the third thanks to three walks in the inning. The game continued to be a back-and-forth battle as Mayhem put two runs up in both the fourth and fifth, capped off by a two-run double by #6 O’Grady. This proved to be enough as the Mayhem held on to the one-run lead to win 5-4.

Old Hickory Baseball Club vs Prospex (18u)

Old Hickory jumped out to an early lead with two runs in the first thanks to a two RBI single by #12 Taylor. After the top of the first, both teams were held scoreless until Old Hickory scored two runs in the fifth and sixth thanks to RBI hits by #11 Meeker and #12 Taylor. The Prospex were held scoreless and the final score of the game was 6-0, Old Hickory.

RBI Prime vs M.A.D. Mavericks (16u)

After both teams were held scoreless through three innings, the Prime jumped out to a lead in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI singles by #28 Nadeau and #22 Carroll. This lead was cut into in the top of the fifth thanks to an RBI by #9 Hunter. The Mavericks put up three runs in the top of the sixth, taking the lead and pushing them to victory.

Prospex jumped out to an early lead with five runs in the top of the first inning thanks to a mix of walks and singles. The Mustangs battled back by putting up two runs in the bottom of the first. After scoreless second and third innings, the Mustangs put up another two runs in the fourth inning to cut the lead to one run. This proved to not be enough as Prospex won 6-4.

TN Stix vs Mission Prospects Tigers (18u)

This low-scoring affair showed off some great pitching and stellar defense from both sides. After a scoreless first two innings, the Tigers got on the board with one run in the third. The Tigers added another run in the fifth. This proved to be enough as the Stix were shutout and the Tigers cruised to a 2-0 lead.

GRA Pitts vs Hit after Hit Outlaws (18u)

The game featured a back-and-forth matchup with a close game throughout the entirety of the contest. After each team scored a few runs in the first couple innings, GRA took a 5-4 lead going into the fifth. In the bottom of the fifth, the Outlaws strung together some hits to get two runners in scoring position, which allowed for a two-run double to put the Outlaws ahead. These proved to be the winning runs for the Outlaws as they ended up winning 6-5.

This low-scoring affair started with the first five innings being scoreless on both sides. Over the first five innings, Rawlings Coley was held to one hit and the Crusaders were held to three. The scoring started in the sixth inning when #27 Jackson had an RBI single to put the Crusaders on the board. This proved enough as the Crusaders held Rawlings Coley scoreless throughout the entirety of the game. The Crusaders finished with one run on five hits while Rawlings Coley finished with zero runs on two hits.

TN Elite vs Rawlings Georgia Prospects (16u)

The scoring started in the top of the third inning when Rawlings GA put up five runs thanks to RBI hits by #9 Hester and #3 Waller. The Elite put up two runs in the bottom inning thanks to five walks and RBIs coming from #2 Jake and #66 Pickett. The Prospects added to their lead with two runs in both the fourth and fifth innings. The Prospects finished with nine runs on 10 hits while the Elite finished with two runs on five hits.

The Prospects jumped out to an early lead after putting up four runs in the top of the first thanks to hits by six different hitters. They added on another run in the second to push the score to 5-0, Prospects. Diamond Mine chipped away by putting up one run in the bottom of the third, but it proved not enough as the Prospects held Diamond Mine scoreless the rest of the game to hold on to a 6-1 victory.

Fury Chattanooga 17u vs Hit after Hit Outlaws- King (18u)

This low-scoring duel began with the first three innings being scoreless for both teams. The scoring finally broke out when Fury put up one run in the fourth to take a slim lead. Hit after Hit tied up the game when they answered back with one run of their own. After a scoreless sixth, the Fury put up one run in the top of the seventh, giving themselves a one-run lead as they held on to win 2-1.

The Roosters jumped out to an early lead after putting up one run in both the first and second innings. The Cyclones tied the game in the bottom of the second, putting the score at 2-2. After the Roosters put up one run in the top of the third, the Cyclones put up another two runs in the bottom of the inning to take the one-run lead. The Cyclones put up two more in the bottom of the inning, extending their lead to three. This was the end of the scoring as the Cyclones battled back to win the contest 6-3.

Mission Prospects vs Redbirds (15u)

The Prospects jumped out to an early lead after putting up four runs in the bottom of the first,  foreshadowing how the rest of the game would go. The Prospects put up two more in the second, pushing the lead to 6-0. The Red Birds battled back with three runs of their own in the third inning, making the score 6-3. This comeback was short lived as the Prospects scored in each of the next three innings, capped off by a four-run fifth inning to invoke the run rule. The Prospects won by eight runs with a score of 12-4.

Tennessee Raiders vs Diamond USA (16u)

This game was all Raiders from the beginning after they put up four runs in the first to start the game. After Diamond USA put up one run in the third, the Raiders scored three more in the bottom of the inning, pushing the lead to 7-1. The Raiders scored two more in the fourth and held Diamond USA scoreless in the fourth and fifth, invoking the run rule. The Raiders ended up winning by eight runs with a score of 9-1.

This low-scoring affair started off with both teams being held scoreless for the first four innings of the game. The scoring began after the Mustangs were held scoreless in the top of the fifth. Rawlings put up a run in the bottom of the inning thanks to an RBI single by #3 Owen. This ended up being the only scoring of the game as the Mustangs were held scoreless through the entirety of the game, pushing Rawlings to a 1-0 victory.

EKY Crusaders vs Prospex (15u)

Both teams were held scoreless through the first three innings. The Prospex put up one run in the top of the third, only giving up three runs in the bottom of the inning. The Prospex battled back by putting up another run in the fourth, cutting the lead to one run for the Crusaders. The Crusaders put up one run in the bottom of the fourth, extending their lead to two. The Prospex were held scoreless the rest of the game, propelling the Crusaders to a 4-2 victory.

The scoring started right off the bat when Rawlings put up four runs in the top of the first. The Crusaders bounced back by scoring one run in the bottom of the inning, making the score 4-1, Rawlings. The Crusaders kept chipping away after putting up one run in the third and fifth. The score was, 4-3, Rawlings going into the sixth where the Crusaders put up three runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. The Crusaders held Rawlings scoreless after giving up a four-run first inning, allowing for the Crusaders to take a 6-4 victory.

Team Beast capitalized on a passed ball in the first inning, putting up one run. The Cyclones had a big inning in the top of the second, putting up two runs. In the top of the third, Team Beast walked in eight runs. The game ended in the bottom of the fourth after a shut-down inning by the Cyclones.

Cyclones vs Rawlings Cruisers

The game was quiet in the first inning, but Rawlings Cruisers picked it up in the top of the second, putting up three runs. They continued to extend their run in the top of the third, fourth, and seventh, combining for a total of nine runs. The Cyclones overall had a hard time playing clean baseball in this one, and the Cruisers capitalized on their mistakes.

Mission Prospects vs Team Beast 

Mission Prospects came out swinging it well, putting up two runs in the first. The bottom of the first and the second innings were quick. However, the third inning was a walk fest for Team Beast. Mission Prospects put up six runs and only one of them was from a hit. They further extended their lead in the fourth off of more walks. The Prospects continued to extend their lead off of numerous errors from Team Beast. This game was a complete blowout by Team Beast’s own doing.

EKY Crusaders vs Rawlings Cruisers 

The bats were more than hot for the Crusaders in this matchup. The Crusaders had a hit parade the size of the New Year’s Parade through Market Square. They put up 17 runs in the bottom of the first inning in response to a measly four runs from Rawlings Cruisers. This was enough to end the game in a run rule in the third inning.

EKY Crusaders continued their hot streak in this one, scoring seven runs in the first. They continued to add on to their lead in the second with two more runs. They put up seven more runs in the top of the third, and held the Roosters to no runs to end the game in a run rule in the third inning.

In this matchup, Diamond Mine put up two runs in the top of the second. They trickled in one more in the third and another in the fourth. They continued to add to their lead in the top of the sixth with another one-run inning. They did the same thing in the top of the seventh. TN Elite scratched for a run in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn’t come back.

The Mavericks put up a five spot in the top of the first inning. Diamond Mine responded with one run in the bottom of the first. The game was quiet from this point on until the top of the fourth when the Mavericks put up another run. They also put up another run in the top of the sixth. The Mavericks scraped for another run in the bottom of the seventh. The game ended 11-2.

EKY Crusaders vs Team Beast NC

In this matchup, the bats were quiet in the first inning due to solid defense from the Crusaders and a hard time getting their bats rolling. They broke the ice in the second inning, putting up a run. They really picked up the pace in the fourth and fifth innings, putting up two, and then three runs. Lots of errors were made on the Team Beast side, along with lots of free 90s. The Crusaders put up another two runs in the bottom of the seventh off of walks.

This game was defined by the Rawlings’ first inning, putting up three runs. The bats of both teams went silent until the bottom of the sixth when Rawlings Coley scratched another run on the board. The Prospects scratched one up in the bottom of the seventh off of a series of mistakes by Rawlings Coley.

Motor City Mayhem vs Old Hickory Baseball Club

Both teams were strong on the mound on Thursday, but Old Hickory was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Motor City Mayhem.  Logan Hunt started the game for Motor City Mayhem 17U, and recorded 12 outs. Garrett Taylor got the win for Old Hickory. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out two and walking one. Zackary Milan threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Milan recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Old Hickory.

The Mavericks fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 3-0 loss to Rawlings Georgia Prospects. Rawlings Georgia Prospects took the lead on a home run in the second inning. The pitching was strong on both sides. The Prospects’ pitchers struck out six, while the Mavericks sat down four. The Prospects got on the board in the second inning when Brady Logan homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.

Tennessee Raiders vs Old Hickory Baseball Club 16u

Wyatt Bassow was the winning pitcher for Old Hickory Baseball Club. The fireballer allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out two and walking one. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Carter Pruitt, Colby Allen, Jacob Baker, and Riley Blanc all securing outs and ultimately the victory. T Neville took the loss for the Tennessee Raiders. The bulldog lasted two innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out one.

RBI Prime vs Diamond Mine

RBI Prime tied the game on a groundout in the sixth inning as RBI Prime tied Diamond Mine 4-4 on Friday. Diamond Mine opened up scoring in the first inning. Manning grounded out, scoring one run. Jordan Carroll led RBI Prime with two hits in three at-bats. Carroll led RBI Prime with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with four stolen bases. Diamond Mine had eight hits in the game. Malachi and Carter managed multiple hits for Diamond Mine.

TN Stix watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 2-1 loss to Old Hickory on Saturday. Old Hickory took the lead on a single in the first inning. The pitching was strong on both sides. Old Hickory’s pitchers struck out 11, while TN Stix sat down 14. Old Hickory opened up the scoring in the first inning. Ty Hays drove in one run when he singled. Carson Raby was on the mound for TN Stix. The pitcher went five innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out 12. Owen Holbert threw one inning in relief.

GRA Clendenen vs Fury Chattanooga 17u

GRA Clendenen fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 7-1 loss to Fury Chattanooga on Saturday.  Fury Chattanooga took the lead on a groundout in the first inning. GRA Clendenen struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Fury Chattanooga, giving up seven runs. Fury Chattanooga got on the board in the first inning when Abraham Shull grounded out, scoring one run. Fury Chattanooga scored three runs in the second inning.  The big inning for Fury Chattanooga came thanks to a single by Caleb Adams, a groundout by E. Evans, and a fielder’s choice by Grant Carlton. Reece Blackiston pitched Fury Chattanooga  to victory. The lefthander lasted four innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four.  Sebastian Hanks threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Colin Stokes took the loss for GRA Clendenen. Stokes went four innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out two. Zach Lee, Ian Dortch, and Thor Williams each managed one hit to lead GRA Clendenen. Fury Chattanooga saw the ball well today, racking up six hits in the game. Bryson Cline and Cameron Mullins both managed multiple hits for Fury Chattanooga.

GRA Norton vs Diamond USA

GRA Norton fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-0 loss to Diamond USA on Saturday. Diamond USA took the lead in the second inning. GRA Norton struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Diamond USA, giving up six runs. In the second inning, Diamond USA got their offense started when #21 grounded into a double play, scoring one run. A single by Noah McLemore in the first inning was a positive for GRA Norton. #15 got the start for Diamond USA. The fireballer surrendered zero runs on one hit over five and a third innings, striking out eight. Jackson DeBusk was on the mound for GRA Norton. The southpaw surrendered three runs on four hits over three innings, striking out one. C. Tipton and Tanner Jarvis entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one inning, respectively.

Old Hickory Baseball Club fell to Diamond USA, 4-3, on Saturday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at three with Diamond USA batting in the bottom of the seventh when an error scored one run for Diamond USA. Old Hickory lost despite out-hitting Diamond USA eight to seven. Diamond USA opened up an early lead in the second inning when Sompayral grounded into a double play, scoring one run. Diamond USA knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the sixth inning. Stout’s sac fly scored one run for Diamond USA. Miller was the winning pitcher for Diamond USA. Miller allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking zero. Colby Allen took the loss for Old Hickory. The pitcher lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs. David Finch started the game for Old Hickory. Finch allowed six hits and three runs over five and a third innings, striking out three. Sompayral started the game for Diamond USA. The bulldog went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out three. Old Hickory tallied eight hits in the game. Collins and Finch both had two hits to lead Old Hickory.

Hustle Factory Scout Team vs GRA Clendenen

GRA Clendenen had trouble keeping up with Hustle Factory in a 12-2 loss on Saturday. Hustle Factory opened up scoring in the first inning.  An error scored one run for Hustle Factory. GRA Clendenen evened things up at two in the bottom of the first inning.  An error scored one run for GRA Clendenen. Hustle Factory pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. Hustle Factory scored five runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Hustle Factory was led by #12 and #8, who each had RBIs in the inning.  #10 was on the pitcher’s mound for Hustle Factory. He surrendered two runs on three hits over three innings, striking out one. Trent Chandler was on the mound for GRA Clendenen 17U. The pitcher surrendered seven runs on three hits over three innings, striking out one. Carson Cooper and Bryson Wolfenbarger entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

Hit after Hit Outlaws defeated Diamond Mine 5-0 on Saturday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Thomas Wall induced a fly out from #40 to finish off the game. Hit after Hit Outlaws opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored them one run. Hit after Hit s notched three runs in the fifth inning. Khullun Avery and Michael McClellan each had RBIs in the frame. A single by #32 in the first inning was a positive for Diamond Mine. Caleb Pica earned the victory on the hill for Hit after Hit. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on two hits over four innings, striking out eight and walking one. William Wexler and Wall entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Hit after Hit Outlaws defeated Old Hickory 5-4 on Sunday. Old Hickory got things started in the first inning when Dax Braemer singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Austin Brewington led things off on the mound for Hit after Hit Outlaws. The bulldog surrendered three runs on three hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out three. Seth Creasey was on the pitcher’s mound for Old Hickory. Creasey allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two. John Hale threw five innings in relief. Wyatt Hemingway, AJ Swader, Gabe Epperson, and Stevens each managed one hit to lead Hit after Hit Outlaws.

Rawlings Georgia Prospects vs M.A.D. Mavericks  

Alex Eisenbeck threw a shutout to lead the Mavericks past the Prospects, 1-0, on Sunday. The pitching was strong on both sides. Eisenbeck struck out three, while the Prospects’ pitchers sat down four. A single by Christopher Law in the second inning was a positive for the Prospects. Eisenbeck got the win for the Mavericks. The right-hander lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out three. Weston Skinner took the loss for the Prospects. The hurler lasted six and a third innings, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out three and walking zero. The Mavericks totaled seven hits. Connor Binkley and Jett Ritter all managed multiple hits for the Mavericks. Ritter and Binkley each managed two hits to lead the Mavericks.

Old Hickory Baseball Club lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat to Diamond USA on Sunday. The game was tied at one with Diamond USA batting in the bottom of the fifth when Webb singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Old Hickory lost despite out-hitting Diamond USA seven to six. Diamond USA opened up scoring in the second inning. Kilgore grounded out, scoring one run. Old Hickory knotted the game up at one in the top of the third inning, when David Finch was hit by a pitch, driving in a run. Miller earned the win for Diamond USA. The hurler lasted three innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out three. Jacob Baker took the loss for Old Hickory. The hurler surrendered four runs on six hits over five and a third innings, striking out one. Baker started the game for Diamond USA. The ace surrendered one run on three hits over four innings, striking out three.

M.A.D. Mavericks vs Diamond USA

The Mavericks scored more runs than Diamond USA, taking victory on Sunday to the tune of 6-1. The Mavericks got on the board in the first inning when William Webb induced Jett Ritter to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored. Hunter Richards was the winning pitcher for the Mavericks. Richards allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out three and walking one. Connor Binkley threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Cooper Schulze took the loss for Diamond USA. The pitcher went one inning, allowing one run on zero hits and walking one. Webb started the game for Diamond USA. Webb lasted three innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out two. Binkley went two-for-four at the plate to lead the Mavericks in hits. The Mavericks were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Binkley made the most plays with six.

Old Hickory Baseball Club vs Hit After Hit Outlaws

This was a back and forth game between both teams which ended up in a tie. Old Hickory’s pitcher went the stretch for the team, while Hit after Hit had to switch pitchers after the first inning. It was a very intense game and both teams hit the ball very well. Two players from the Outlaws hit a home run, but it was #21 Young that hit one to tie the ball game. Both starting pitchers got hit around, but they managed to keep the offensive alive and give their team a chance.

Old Hickory Baseball Club vs Mission Prospects Tigers

It was a quick game for Old Hickory Baseball Club and Mission Prospect Tigers. The Tigers put up a huge spot in the first inning and again in the second. They scored 10 runs in three innings, allowing them to run-rule Old Hickory. The starting pitcher for the Tigers, #3 Bayne, did a great job pitching three innings with three hits, six strikeouts, one walk, and two runs. The Tiger’s bats were hot today, and multiple players had multiple hits on the day. The game ended with a final score of 12-2 after a four-inning run rule.

Mission Prospects Tigers vs Hustle Factory Scout Team

This was a great game played by two very good teams. In the end, the Tigers came out on top with a walk-off chopper to the pitcher. It was a pitchers’ battle for sure, as both pitchers went the stretch for their teams. It was a low-scoring game with a combined five runs scored from both teams. #28 Glines for the Tigers went 5 1/3 innings, allowing three hits, two runs, one walk, a hit-by-pitch, and striking out eight. He worked with fast tempo and dominated the bottom of Hustle Factory’s line up. The pitcher for Hustle Factory, #5 Skylar, was also very impressive and had a fast tempo. He went six innings, only giving up three runs, four hits, three walks, one hit-by-pitch, and striking out four. He did a great job pitching to contact and got lots of groundballs and fly balls.

Hustle Factory Scout Team vs TN Stix

The last game of the night ended in another close one with a score of 5-3,  Hustle Factory. Hustle Factory redeemed themselves from their last game and both sides played very well. The starting pitcher for Hustle Factory struggled early, but with the help of the bullpen they were able to shut down TN Stix. The TN Stix pitcher pitched the whole game and did very well for his outing. There were a couple of missed key plays that ended up making them lose the lead late in the game. Both teams hit very well, but Hustle Factory came out on top with key hits and bunts while runners were in scoring position. This was a great game to watch with a lot of action.

Diamond USA vs TN Elite

Diamond USA came out on top with a 7-1 win over TN Elite. A great pitching performance was made by two of the Diamond USA players as they almost held TN Elite to no hits. The bats were hot for Diamond USA and they had many key hits by a couple of players. It was the shutdown-pitching that helped them win the game. #21 Webb started the game and pitched two innings with five strikeouts, allowing one hit, one walk, and one run. #4 Schulze came in after Webb and pitched the rest of the game for the win. He pitched five innings of shutout baseball, only allowing one hit, one walk, and striking out four. He pitched to contact and the defense helped him out.

Diamond Academy Legends vs Hit after Hit Outlaws – King

It was a very competitive and great game between Diamond Academy Legends and Hit after Hit Outlaws- King. It was a pitchers’ battle between both teams, but in the end, the Outlaws took the win. The pitcher for the Outlaws, #16 Payne, threw a complete game shutout with seven innings, five strikeouts, two hits, and two walks. It was a gutsy performance and the defense was very clean. The pitcher for the Legends, #17, pitched very well and had six innings, seven strikeouts, five hits, one run, and one hit-by-pitch. They both played very well, even when the bats weren’t hot.

Diamond Academy Legends vs Mission Prospects Tigers

Mission Prospects Tigers came out with a bang and beat Diamond Academy Legends 14-0. The bats started off hot for the Tigers as they put up five runs in the first two innings. They then scored 10 runs over the next two innings, ending the game in a run rule.There were four players with multiple hits this game and let’s not forget about the pitching performance from the Tigers. The Tigers threw a combined shutout no-hitter. They pitched to contact and did very well defensively. This team is not afraid to swing the bat and they are very aggressive on the base path.

Diamond Mine vs GRA Clendenen

Diamond Mine came out on top against GRA Clendenen for the last game of the day, winning in a run rule with a score of 10-1. The bats started off slowly for Diamond Mine, but heated up during the third inning. They scored seven runs off of eight hits and didn’t stop there. They then scored three more runs in the fifth inning to finish the game. The pitcher for Diamond Mine, #34 Coxie, had a great outing, going the full stretch of the game. He pitched five innings with six strikeouts, three hits, two walks, and only gave up one run. GRA Clendenen couldn’t score when they had an opportunity and it hurt them in the end.

GRA Norton vs Old Hickory Baseball Club 16u

Game one of the July 4th weekend went to Old Hickory Baseball Club as they run-ruled GRA Norton, 12-2, in four innings. GRA Norton answered first as they scored one, but couldn’t hold the lead and they fell behind more and more after each inning. Old Hickory Baseball Club came to hit and that’s exactly what they did. They were also very aggressive on the base paths when given free bases and it allowed them to score each inning. The pitching for Old Hickory was also very good and #2 Collins pitched three innings, giving up six hits, two runs, one walk, and striking out three. The defense backed him up and was ready at all times.

GRA Pitts vs Prospex

Game two was a close one as Prospex took the win, 3-2, over the GRA Pitts. It was a pitchers’ battle as both pitchers on both teams went the distance and they both pitched very well. #16 Pitts for GRA pitched six innings while giving up four hits, two walks, three runs, and striking out six. He gave his team a chance as both teams struggled to hit against these two pitchers. #41 Glass for Prospex pitched a complete game only giving up four hits, one walk, two runs, and striking out four. The defense for both teams was really good and helped their pitchers out. The Prospex came out on top having some key hits with guys on base. It was a very competitive game and both teams played very well.

Hit after Hit Outlaws vs Motor City Mayhem

It was a back and forth game between Hit after Hit Outlaws and Motor City Mayhem, but the Outlaws came out on top 8-6. Both teams hit the ball well and a couple guys from each team got key hits to help score. Both teams took advantage on the base paths as there were quite a few walks from all the pitchers. #8 Bedwell for the Outlaws went four inning only giving up two hits, four runs, one error, three walks, and striking out four. Walks are what hurt both pitchers as each team went back and forth scoring. #43 Stevens #22 and Swader hit very well for the Outlaws.

RBI Prime vs Tennessee Raiders

The Tennessee Raiders came out on top, 2-1, against RBI Prime from a great pitching performance from both teams. There weren’t many hits from each team, but when there was, they took advantage of it and scored. #99 Thomas for the Raiders pitched a phenomenal complete game, only giving up three hits, two walks, one run, and striking out five. His defense helped him out a lot and he pitched to contact very well. #3 Hines for the Prime also pitched a great game, going six innings and giving up six hits, two walks, two runs, and striking out seven. It was a very competitive game and each team played very well.

RBI Prime got another great win against Rawlings Georgia Prospects and won 2-0. It was a great game for both pitchers as they both pitched complete games. #14 Vincil for Prime pitched a complete game shutout, going seven innings with six hits, two walks, and two strikeouts. The defense really helped him out as he pitched to contact and got outs. #3 Waller for the Prospects pitched a great game and gave his team a chance, but they couldn’t get a run across. He went seven innings only giving up four hits, three walks, two runs, and striking out three. He was very consistent in the strike zone and pitched to contact very well.

Hustle Factory Scout Team vs Hit after Hit Outlaws- King

Hustle Factory Scout Team got the win as they run-ruled Hit after Hit Outlaws 13-5. Both teams hit very well towards the end of the game, but Hustle Factory took advantage on the base paths and all the walks from the Outlaws. #5 Trousdale for Hustle Factory started out well until the Outlaws knew what was coming. He pitched 4 ⅔  innings, giving up five hits, three walks, five runs, and striking out eight. Gonzalez came in after him and shut them down, only giving up three hits and striking out three. The walks hurt the Outlaws in the end as they had 13 in total. Players from each team hit very well and gave their team a chance.

Mission Prospect Tigers took the close win against the Hustle Factory Scout Team, 4-3. Both pitchers went the distance for their teams and pitched very well. #16 Bates for the Tigers got the win as he went seven innings, giving up four hits, three walks,three runs, and striking out six. He pitched to contact and had a very good tempo. #6 Bosheers for Hustle Factory went six innings, giving up four hits, four walks, and two runs. No one for the Tigers struck out, and they put the ball in play every time. It was a very close game and it came down to the wire. Both teams competed and played very well.

Hit after Hit Outlaws vs Rawlings GA Prospects

Hit after Hit Outlaws got the win, 2-1, to move on in a very close game. Both pitchers pitched very well and gave their teams a great chance to win. There weren’t many hits from each team, but the defense was key from both of them. There were quite a few walks, but the pitchers got out of the jams that they got into. The game went into extra innings and the Outlaws held the one-run lead after they scored. #6 Galbreak for the Outlaws managed well and never gave up. He went six innings, giving up two hits, six walks, one run, and striking out two. #22 Poole for the Prospects also pitched well, going 6 ⅓  innings, giving up five hits, three walks, one run, and striking out three. The bullpen for both teams pitched very well and worked hard to keep the game close.

Hit after Hit Outlaws vs Mission Prospects Tigers

Mission Prospect Tigers took the win for the championship with a score of 5-1 over Hit after Hit Outlaws. It was a great game and very competitive from both teams. It was a close game to start with, and the Tigers took it home late in the game. A great pitching performance came from all the pitchers that pitched in this game. The Tigers hit very well and had a couple of extra base hits as well. The Outlaws struggled and could only get two hits and score one run in the game. The Tigers played well all weekend, going undefeated to win the whole tournament.
